Apostolic Ministry

So then you must perceive us—not as leaders of factions, but as servants of the Anointed One, those who have been entrusted with God’s mysteries The most important quality of one entrusted with such secrets is that they are faithful and trustworthy 1 Corinthians 4:1-2 (TPT)

Apostles. How is the world to see us then? Perhaps as servants. Faithful and true. The ones that serve as if they were laboring to row a boat, and even in the position of under-rowers to Christ. He called them. He teaches them. He sends them out. They are to be held responsible and stay subordinate to Him. As they minister to one another they shall not be magnified as leaders of men, no, not prideful or boastful but rather taking their case to and appealing always to the Master instead, in whom they stand.

Both the men and women of God in this great day are obviously not to be depositories of grace but to be dispensers of it. The ministers of this great calling are to preach and to teach and to make known the deep truths of God that are revealed to them and even to call out the signs of the times as they see it, so that all might have time to be prepared and to get ready.

Be prepared. Get to know Him. Be like Him. That is their warning to us. When you see the men and women of God you should see them as being Christ-like in all things. In all these things ye shall know them. Having important qualities. Having faith. Being trustworthy. For they are the 'not of this world' types. They walk by faith. They are the 'call it forth not as we see it' believers. They are anointed with Holy Spirit power. They believe the God of the Bible is the 'speaker of truth' and 'giver of life'. They light up their world with the Light of Christ. They know things that they could never possibly have known without Him. They are the wedding planners. They are the occupiers. They are the overcomers. Boy can they pray! They bring hope of eternal life to a lost and dying world.

Through faith in Christ there is hope. He is the hope of the world. And though today, and I can't imagine why, many refuse to believe in Him and His Message, one day we shall all see Him and one day all shall know Him.
