Picture Perfect. The Loud House!

'Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Praise God in his holy sanctuary!
Praise him in his stronghold in the sky!
Praise him for his miracles of might!
Praise him for his magnificent greatness!

Praise him with the trumpets blasting!
Praise him with piano and guitar!
Praise him with drums and dancing!
Praise him with the loud, resounding clash of cymbals!
Praise him with every instrument you can find!
Let everyone everywhere join in the crescendo
of ecstatic praise to Yahweh!
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord.' Psalm 150 (TPT)

150 was to be the grand finale - a song of praise! Every word, every punctuation mark and every syllable placed in picture perfect position and oh the harmony! Meant to stir us up! And it does. The rhythm section way! Go get a drummer! Help is on the way. Get loud! This one, like the others, is meant for the Church, to excite us to praise God. And it does.

Where? Praise Him in the church for all the great things He has done for us. He redeemed us! He saved us with His mighty power. He is the Magnificent One and we ought to spare no expense and go to great pains to worship Him in the way that brings Him honor. With excellence. With every instrument we have we ought to bring to Him our praise of thanksgiving.

Praise Him! Sound the trumpets and call us all together. Show Him praise on trumpets blasting by living out our lives totally devoted and sold out to Him. Show Him praise on piano by living our lives of strong faith. Show Him praise on guitar by living our lives with total confidence in Him. Show Him praise on drums by living our lives full of His love for one another. Show Him praise with dancing by living our lives and defeating our enemies. Show Him praise on loud cymbals by living our lives filled with the Hope that He gives us. Show Him praise on every instrument we can find by living our lives devoted to His principles. Why would we follow anything less? How can we not get excited? Why wouldn't we be about the work of praise in an ecstatic and most pleasing and honor giving way? This is how He meant for us to worship!

No restrictions? No limits! Psalms is your book! What a grand book! What a grand way to end this three thousand year old book of hymns! One that was inspired by the Spirit of God with the focus on praise. It was and still is quoted more than any other. Perhaps because it presents God's ways more clearly and simply and with such authority as to influence everyone of us in a profound and glorious way! And it does! Amen. Thank you Lord for Your Word! Hallelujah! Without reservation, we just want to Praise the Lord!
