Ash Wednesday



'Confuse them, Lord, and frustrate their plans, for I see violence and conflict in the city.

Its walls are patrolled day and night against invaders, but the real danger is wickedness within the city.

Everything is falling apart; threats and cheating are rampant in the streets.' Psalm 55:9-11 (NLT)

Lord, confuse the plans of the wicked. Take them down with all of their pride. Humble us. Save us. It's time to pray. Proclaim the Glory. Bring our hearts back to You. Amen.

For wherever the Spirit is there is Life and Liberty. The Spirit brings with it freedom. Joy. Believers, we are blessed. God is gracious. Through the Cross, He has given us a way to be free from the law of sin and death. The veil between us and God has been lifted. The Holy Spirit brings the Light of Christ which illuminates and frees us from former blindness and darkness. The Spirit brings regeneration and sanctification as we are changed and made more like Christ everyday. We are free to walk in the ways of the Lord. Oh how we need thee this very hour Holy Spirit.
