Someone to Love

'The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. We saw the glory with our own eyes, the one-of-a-kind glory, like Father, like Son, Generous inside and out, true from start to finish.' John 1:14 (MSG)

We know that God loves us. Now we see that He loved us so much that He sent His One and Only Son Jesus to die for us. As it were, the Love of God was revealed to us alive and in the flesh. He lived. He died. He arose. He is coming again soon.

Dear Heavenly Father. Thank you so much for revealing Your Truth and Grace to me through Your Son Jesus. Because of Jesus I have seen Your Glory. Because of Jesus I have found Love. Because of Jesus I have found Hope and someone to believe in. Thank you for saving my soul. Thank you for giving up the splendor of Heaven to take on the lowly position of a Man and yet to even fill that Tabernacle of flesh with the Glory of You. Love unstoppable. Joy unspeakable. Full of Glory. In Jesus's name. Amen.

Lessons from the Bible can reassure us of God's love for us and they show us that His ways are good and so much higher than our own. How powerful. In Chapter three, the evil ideas of Haman, to have all the Jews exterminated, had been decreed by the king, and the money set aside in an account for the diabolical deeds and the date was set on the calendar for the bloodshed! That part is so incredible, that one man was given that much power. Just imagine it if you were a Jew. The date for the destruction of your entire race was set and the preparations to follow through with it were being made. Thankfully, our God is greater. Our God is able.
