Sonlight Disinfectant

'Do not participate in the worthless and unproductive deeds of darkness, but instead expose them [by exemplifying personal integrity, moral courage, and godly character]; for it is disgraceful even to mention the things that such people practice in secret. But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light [of God’s precepts], for it is light that makes everything visible. For this reason He says,

“Awake, sleeper,
And arise from the dead,
And Christ will shine [as dawn] upon you and give you light.”

Therefore see that you walk carefully [living life with honor, purpose, and courage; shunning those who tolerate and enable evil], not as the unwise, but as wise [sensible, intelligent, discerning people], making the very most of your time [on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence], because the days are [filled with] evil. Therefore do not be foolish and thoughtless, but understand and firmly grasp what the will of the Lord is.' Ephesians 5:11-17 (AMP)

Abstain. Take no part in it, walk carefully and distance oneself from the deeds of darkness because the days are evil. Embrace the feelings you have of disgust and shame at the very thought of what some will do. Condemn the godless acts and refuse to take part in the works of the evil one, but instead, with godly character expose them. Do not deny their existence. Do not be foolish. Do not cover them up. Live a life of moral courage and purpose and know God's will. Know Him and live by God's precepts. His favor. His grace. By the mere act of doing good you expose the worthless things done in secret in the world. Be that light of Christ that draws people away from death and bondage to their sins and addictions and towards the light of life. Sonlight is the best disinfectant. Walk in Holy Spirit wisdom. Walk with wisdom and with personal integrity and learn to recognize and take advantage of every opportunity in life. Redeeming the time, not wasting it, for it is one of our most precious gifts. With intelligence and diligence you will yield much fruit in the process and a bountiful harvest brings blessings and rewards at the marketplace.

In Chapter three, the evil ideas of Haman, to have all the Jews exterminated, had been decreed by the king, and the money set aside in an account for the diabolical deeds and the date was set on the calendar for the bloodshed! That part is so incredible, that one man was given that much power. Just imagine it if you were a Jew. The date for the destruction of your entire race was set and the preparations to follow through with it were being made. Thankfully, our God is greater. Our God is able.
