Looking Forward to Looking Ahead
'Deborah said to Barak, “Charge! This very day God has given you victory over Sisera. Isn’t God marching before you?”

When the true prophesies are from God we can be assured and seek our answers with boldness and with confidence. Those words of faith that flowed from the mouth of Deborah, gave hope to all that heard it, and brought the vision of victory to the army as they charged down the slopes of the mountain to face their enemy. A Word from God will keep us looking forward to the battle we must face when we know that God is in it.
Barak was called to the mountain and had been assured of his victory by the spiritual leader of her day, Judge Deborah. Thus he moved knowing that God was in it.. Being the great general that he was, how could he have done otherwise? How could he hold back knowing that God, the Great General of the Universe was marching before him? God is never a day early or a day late, but He is always right on time. Barak was ready and waiting. God even routed the pagans right into his hands. Reluctance, set aside, see how he so willingly stepped forward into the battle and charged forth into his destiny! Oh the power one has, when one know he is in the will of God!
There is victory when you are in God's will. There is victory in knowing God's will, even when you are up against it and it looks like the cards are stacked against you. You can know that God has gone before you. Looking ahead, He is already there. He has you covered. There is victory in knowing God's will, even when the reports have come back and the word is not in your favor. You can know that the Word of God is true and that He has gone before you. There is victory in knowing God's will, even when the times seem unbearable and there is fighting all around you. Go to the mountain, just listen for God to speak and then Charge! Don't hesitate. Don't second guess. When God is in it, it's time to move, and nothing that you could not handle, will stand between you and your victory. The enemy will literally run for their lives from you and Your God. Not one man that stands against you will be left to fight again. Total victory. Enemy defeated. Another spiritual battle fought and won.
