Next Steps

'Show me Your ways, O Lord;
Teach me Your paths.

Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day.' Psalm 25:4-5 (NKJV)

Show me. Teach me. Lead me. Save me. And because of all of these things, I wait patiently on You Lord. You are my source of strength.

You are Truth. You are Teacher. You are Guide. You are Savior. Because I know You I have found Love. I put my trust in You. Because I know You I am able to take my next step.

Lessons from the Bible can reassure us of God's love for us and they show us that His ways are good and so much higher than our own. How powerful. In Chapter three, the evil ideas of Haman, to have all the Jews exterminated, had been decreed by the king, and the money set aside in an account for the diabolical deeds and the date was set on the calendar for the bloodshed! That part is so incredible, that one man was given that much power. Just imagine it if you were a Jew. The date for the destruction of your entire race was set and the preparations to follow through with it were being made. Thankfully, our God is greater. Our God is able.
