Living God's Way
'I am not ashamed of the Good News, because it is the power God uses to
save everyone who believes—to save the Jews first, and then to save
non-Jews. The Good News shows how God makes people right with
himself—that it begins and ends with faith. As the Scripture says, “But
those who are right with God will live by faith.”
God’s anger is shown from heaven against all the evil and wrong things people do. By their own evil lives they hide the truth. God shows his anger because some knowledge of him has been made clear to them. Yes, God has shown himself to them. There are things about him that people cannot see—his eternal power and all the things that make him God. But since the beginning of the world those things have been easy to understand by what God has made. So people have no excuse for the bad things they do. They knew God, but they did not give glory to God or thank him. Their thinking became useless. Their foolish minds were filled with darkness. They said they were wise, but they became fools. They traded the glory of God who lives forever for the worship of idols made to look like earthly people, birds, animals, and snakes.
Because they did these things, God left them and let them go their sinful way, wanting only to do evil. As a result, they became full of sexual sin, using their bodies wrongly with each other. They traded the truth of God for a lie. They worshiped and served what had been created instead of the God who created those things, who should be praised forever. Amen.

In the same way, men stopped having natural sex and began wanting each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and in their bodies they received the punishment for those wrongs.' There is no excuse for the bad things people do. They know right from wrong but for some they refuse to give God the glory or to even thank him. They think wrong and dark thoughts. They think themselves wise and enlightened but they become fools. As fools they worship idols and the things that they have made. Because people do these things and all things evil, God shows His anger. God leaves.
God leaves them. He turns His back on them and lets them do shameful things. Romans 1 describes the first steps toward judgment and God's punishment is when they use their bodies wrongly with each other. Same old story. Same old sin. Don't be deceived to the ways of the devil. He is a liar. He hates God and all of His creation. He wants to kill, steal and destroy.
God is Love. God loves us and He forgives us and He gives us what we need and He blesses us and He wants only the best for us, when we love Him and obey Him and live by faith. His ways are plain to see. His invisible ways are easy to understand. There is a natural flow to the world. There is a right way of things. There is no shame in following God and living the Godly way. The incorruptible and the beauty of it all lies in the normal path that leads to faith in Him and to His glory. There really is no excuse for sin.
