Paradise

'Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power  2 Thessalonians 1:6-9(KJV)

Death is not the end. Death is a separation. The physical and the spiritual. Your body from your soul. Death is not the end and for some it is a new beginning, a fresh start to something that far exceeds anything we can even dream or imagine. Paradise.

For the believer, even in the separation, we have much to gain. One day our spirits will be reunited with our bodies and our bodies will be made perfect and glorified for all of eternity. Absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

We get to choose, whether we will spend eternity with God or spend it away from His presence and from the glory of His power, in righteous punishment with everlasting destruction. Paradise sounds better. Stay in the Glory. If you are troubled, rest with us. Get to know the Lord Jesus. Avoid the 'taking of vengeance on them' and 'flaming fire' for not knowing God and obeying the gospel.
