Reaching People With the Truth of God's Word

'If our Message is obscure to anyone, it’s not because we’re holding back in any way. No, it’s because these other people are looking or going the wrong way and refuse to give it serious attention. All they have eyes for is the fashionable god of darkness. They think he can give them what they want, and that they won’t have to bother believing a Truth they can’t see. They’re stone-blind to the dayspring brightness of the Message that shines with Christ, who gives us the best picture of God we’ll ever get.
 
Remember, our Message is not about ourselves; we’re proclaiming Jesus Christ, the Master. All we are is messengers, errand runners from Jesus for you. It started when God said, “Light up the darkness!” and our lives filled up with light as we saw and understood God in the face of Christ, all bright and beautiful.' 2 Corinthians 4:3-6 (MSG)
 
Light up the darkness! As messengers it is our challenge to find every way possible to be that light and to bring the love of Christ to the world. Don't hold back. God created the light. He is the Father of Light. He sent His son Jesus to be the Light of the world. God said light shall shine. Knowledge brings forth the light. Jesus told Paul that He was sending him to open their eyes. His mission field was huge. After he saw the light, he went to the extreme in all he did. The travels, the people he spoke to and the writings, all done for love. All because he let the Light of the love of Christ in. Letting the light get in through the eyes in the seeing is one way to reach the world for Christ. From messengers writing on papyrus and parchment paper to writing blogs, they are reaching people with the truth of God's Word. For the world needs to turn from darkness to the light. So many people are lost and are going the wrong way. The world needs to turn from the power of Satan to God. So many people can't see the truth and are looking the wrong way.  The world needs forgiveness and to find their place in Him. So many people need to give the Message serious attention. So many people need to look to the Light of Christ.
 
God chooses the humblest among us to teach the world. It is never about ourselves. He uses the weakest among us so that He might be glorified even more when one comes to find the truth. The Message is about the Master. We share the message and truth that Christ Jesus is our Savior and our Deliverer and that He alone saves to the uttermost those that come to God through Him. We are the messengers and errand runners for Jesus. It started when God lit up the darkness in our own lives.  We saw and understood God through the face of Christ. His face is all bright and beautiful. We want the world to know and to see that same face. The face of Jesus. When the sun lights up the horizon we find beauty but all the more wonderful to see the gospel shine in a heart when one finds the truth and believes it. Hallelujah, another soul saved. Eyes, once stone-blind to it and then by the work of the Holy Spirit the veil is lifted and one turns to the dayspring brightness of the message. The treasure of the gospel of light and grace is breaking through the darkness and coming to life in me. Me! Reflecting the Light of Christ! Never be the same. Forever changed. Glory to Glory.

That part is so incredible, that one man was given that much power. Just imagine it if you were a Jew. The date for the destruction of your entire race was set and the preparations to follow through with it were being made. Thankfully, our God is greater. Our God is able.
