Finding Your Voice

'Before time itself was measured, the Voice was speaking. The Voice was and is God. This celestial Word remained ever present with the Creator; His speech shaped the entire cosmos. Immersed in the practice of creating, all things that exist were birthed in Him. His breath filled all things with a living, breathing light— A light that thrives in the depths of darkness, blazes through murky bottoms. It cannot and will not be quenched.' 
John 1:1-5 (VOICE)

Wake up. Wake up. Thank goodness it's Sunday! It's a new day. It's a new beginning. Jesus, speaking and revealing Himself to us on this day, through His Word and His voice being heard. The sheep hear His voice and recognize Him as God and creator. He gives life to all things and is the light of reason that draws all things to it. From darkness to light we are drawn to Him. Drawn to a light that is too big to put out. Wake up and know Jesus as the Son of God and believe in Him as your personal savior. In Jesus we can know the voice of God. By this we can know what love is, and by this we will know that we belong to the truth and the truth will set us free when we open our Bible. God opens His mouth as the law becomes the tutor to lead us to Christ so that we might be justified by faith, and it is by the grace of God through the work of the Holy Spirit that we are changed that we might glorify Him. The Holy Spirit can help you find your voice. If you believe, simply open your mouth and He will speak for you.

The Look

' By “the Lord” what I mean is the Spirit, and in any heart where the Spirit of the Lord is present, there is liberty.' 2 Corinthians 3:17 (VOICE ) Holy Spirit thou art welcome in this place. For wherever the Spirit is there is Life and Liberty. The Spirit brings with it freedom. Joy. Believers, we are blessed. God is gracious. Through the Cross, He has given us a way to be free from the law of sin and death. The veil between us and God has been lifted. The Holy Spirit brings the Light of Christ which illuminates and frees us from former blindness and darkness. The Spirit brings regeneration and sanctification as we are changed and made more like Christ everyday. We are free to walk in the ways of the Lord. Oh how we need thee this very hour Holy Spirit.
