In the Grip of Grace
'Now, there is no comparison between Adam’s transgression and the
gracious gift that we experience. For the magnitude of the gift far
outweighs the crime. It’s true that many died because of one man’s
transgression, but how much greater will God’s grace and his gracious
gift of acceptance overflow to many because of what one Man, Jesus, the
Messiah, did for us!
And this free-flowing gift imparts to us much more than what was given to us through the one who sinned. For because of one transgression, we are all facing a death sentence with a verdict of “Guilty!” But this gracious gift leaves us free from our many failures and brings us into the perfect righteousness of God—acquitted with the words “Not guilty!”

Death once held us in its grip, and by the blunder of one man, death
reigned as king over humanity. But now, how much more are we held in the
grip of grace and continue reigning as kings in life, enjoying our
regal freedom through the gift of perfect righteousness in the one and
only Jesus, the Messiah!' Romans 5:15-17 (TPT)
An abundant life? An abundance of grace. Even so, we reign. Even though, death once held us in its grip, now where is its sting? Because of Jesus we are free and darkness has to flee. We are free indeed to enjoy life. So much the more. How much more? Think about grace. Grace has us in its grip. Grace will never let us go. It has us in sight and it follows us everywhere. Grace in abundance and free-flowing morning, noon and night. God's grace is so much greater than our sin. Once guilty but now we are acquitted! That gracious gift of acceptance filling us to overflowing. Opening that gift we find freedom and promises given in abundance. Taking out my promises today and confessing there is nothing lacking here. Poverty has no power here, I can rule and reign as a king over lack. Disease has no power here, I can rule and reign as a king over sickness and pain. Bad circumstance has no power here, we can rule and reign like kings over every situation in life by Jesus Christ, in whom we have been redeemed from the curse of the law. We are redeemed because of the One man that was obedient. God is merciful with His free gifts of righteousness and salvation which are given to all who are willing to receive them through His son, Jesus. Oh the great magnitude of what His death did for me. I claim all of His promises as true and believe that His power is unlimited and that He saved me to the uttermost! Praises to the King of Glory!
