A Magnificent Performance

'God is magnificent; he can never be praised enough. There are no boundaries to his greatness.

You are impressively beautiful. In You we find nothing lacking. Your magnificent creation appears to us in all its spectacular glory; amazing colors on the stage for all to see. Your complete works are limitless, extravagant, glorious, breathtaking, and awe-inspiring. Even to the end, You delivered and You do not disappoint. You thought of everything. You even considered the sinner, and You sent Your Son who knew no sin to die for us. Christ, who being full of grace and compassion, came into the world to save the sinner through His words and His works. His Word brings life and His great works of goodness and grace accomplished Your magnificent plan of redemption. His love for us led Him to the cross to suffer and die for us. We love to tell the stories of You, our great and magnificent God of love. Our God is magnificent. Our Master. Our Virtuoso. Seeing and believing. Hearing and knowing. What a magnificent performance!

Lessons from the Bible can reassure us of God's love for us and they show us that His ways are good and so much higher than our own. How powerful. In Chapter three, the evil ideas of Haman, to have all the Jews exterminated, had been decreed by the king, and the money set aside in an account for the diabolical deeds and the date was set on the calendar for the bloodshed! That part is so incredible, that one man was given that much power. Just imagine it if you were a Jew. The date for the destruction of your entire race was set and the preparations to follow through with it were being made. Thankfully, our God is greater. Our God is able.
