Building the Case for Christ -Prophesy #8

'I will open my mouth with a parable; I will utter hidden things, things from of old—' Psalm 78:2 (NIV)

This prophecy was fulfilled 520 years later when Matthew documented that Jesus the Messiah would speak to the crowds in parables.

'Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable.' Matthew 13:34 (NIV)

The Look

A Warrant to Believe

For wherever the Spirit is there is Life and Liberty. The Spirit brings with it freedom. Joy. Believers, we are blessed. God is gracious. Through the Cross, He has given us a way to be free from the law of sin and death. The veil between us and God has been lifted. The Holy Spirit brings the Light of Christ which illuminates and frees us from former blindness and darkness. The Spirit brings regeneration and sanctification as we are changed and made more like Christ everyday. We are free to walk in the ways of the Lord. Oh how we need thee this very hour Holy Spirit.
