Building the Case for Christ -Prophesy #3

'Bethlehem Ephrath, you are one of the smallest towns in the nation of Judah. But the Lord will choose one of your people to rule the nation—someone whose family goes back to ancient times.' Micah 5:2 (CEV)

This prophecy was fulfilled 760 years later when Matthew documented the birth place of Jesus the Messiah.

'When Jesus was born in the village of Bethlehem in Judea, Herod was king. During this time some wise men from the east came to Jerusalem and said, “Where is the child born to be king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.”' Matthew 2:1-2 (CEV)
