Drum the Message Home

' Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new creation. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new. ' 2 Corinthians 5:17 (TPT) The Gospel message seems too deep to comprehend at times, and yet we are to reason together with God as to the higher order of spiritual things. This is one of those times. So, start with the basics. And yet, this much I know. for sure, that once I was lost and now I am found. I know that to be enfolded into Christ, is to be united to Him in faith, or to be in Him as the branch is to the vine.That does not seem reasonable to some but that doesn't make it untrue. That does not seem unreasonable to some but that does not make it any easier to understand. Why do I do the things that I do? Why do Iy the things that I say? I am no longer my own.      'and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in t

' To preach the message of the cross seems like sheer nonsense to those who are on their way to destruction, but to us who are on our way to salvation, it is the mighty power of God released within us.' 1 Corinthians 1:18 (TPT) Brilliance. God's very own plan to save the world. Ignorance. Man's way that leads to destruction.  In the beginning, the Word was with God, the Word was God. The Word that goes forth from His Preachers seems like foolishness to the masses who are on the road to destruction, hell bent to leaning on the word of the Pharisees. The Word that goes forth from His Preachers is Good News and sheer brilliance to the wise and one that leads to Salvation and Joy. The Word incarnate was Jesus. Jesus lives. He lived and willingly went to the Cross. The Cross is where He leads me. The Word, the mighty power of God was released over the whole world to changes hearts and even my own!  Hallelujah! ' for we all have sinned and are in need of the glory of God.' Romans 3:23 (TPT) We have all sinned and we all fall short of hitting the mark that we all aim for, that promise of eternal life and therefore the need for the Glory! Amen.

'But I promise you this—the Holy Spirit will come upon you and you will be filled with power. And you will be my messengers to Jerusalem, throughout Judea, the distant provinces — even to the remotest places on earth!” ' Acts 1:8 (TPT) It is enough isn't it? The information that we are given in God's Word and through His Prophets is all that we need for the moment. That message is clear, you are to become messengers to tell everyone of the miracles that you have seen through the power of the Holy Spirit that comes upon you. It is enough that you are given power to get you through the trials and temptations that come. You are given enough power to serve others on earth as Christ hears your concerns while you pray and manages your mission from heaven. It is enough to know that Christ is coming again and that should be enough to awaken your soul. In Him you will find comfort. In His Word and promises you will find your Joy. He is Love. ' “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and he has anointed me to be hope for the poor, freedom for the brokenhearted, and new eyes for the blind, and to preach to prisoners, ‘You are set free!’ I have come to share the message of Jubilee , for the time of God’s great acceptance has begun.” ' Luke 4:18-19 (TPT)   Jesus fulfilled most of the Messianic prophesies in the Old Testament, even though most of His chosen people still do not believe and refuse to see the truth. This prophesy of Isaiah was for them then and later repeated by Jesus himself in that small synagogue of Nazareth. He said 'I have come'. He is the Anointed One, sent by the Father and with the Spirit of the Lord upon Him. Today, and everyday we remember Him and celebrate this Anniversary. Conquer the World for Christ and remove every bit of this heathen culture of death generation from your midst. Rise up ye righteous ones and proclaim the Good News even in today's world. Father, protect and help the men and women who have become laser focused on the virus-of-the-day cure. Confound the work of the distracted and confused few that are trying to weaponize it to destroy us. Let them hear Your voice and the voices of God that have brought a different proposal to the table. Matthew 28:19 (TPT) Matthew, who lived with Jesus for three years, was an Apostle and a Disciple of Christ, a former tax collector turned Saint and also known as one of the four Evangelists and therefore had a first hand account of Christ. Which he wasn't afraid to give. This is what he heard the Lord say. Dear Father Thank you for Your Word. Your Word is Alive. Your Word convicts and leads to salvation and changed lives. We need to know You more so get a hold of us now. Change us to be more like you. Thank you that we have the Disciples and the Apostles very own first hand accounts so that we can know You better. They were there. They were witnesses and they lived through it all. Some of them even wrote about their account of the events from start to finish on what they saw and what they thought we needed to know. Knowledge through

' Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!' Malachi 3:10 (NLT) For those of you that have turned away from God, you should know that He is always most gracious in His call and request for you to return. How could anyone ever think of turning away from our God? How do we honor Him? How do we do it? With our tithe. He is a budget stretcher and a most honest and generous banker. Not just part of it, but we are to bring to Him the entire tithe. No partial giving. No imitations. No delays. Where do we bring our tithe? We are to bring our tithe and place it in the church storehouse or offering plate. Do it now. Do it quickly. We feel Your anger as it burns against some of Your own priests and the elderly. Some of us took our eyes off of You and went after other things of this world. We were distracted by fame and money, and wasted our days on entertainment and leisure. We became frustrated by those that stood in the way, so we spent our time and energy on building our own kingdoms. You are telling me that those days are over now Lord. In Jesus's name. Your Kingdom is righteousness. Your River of Peace will never run dry. First thing, check our hearts, then follow the Peace. Put God's Word in front before the words of any man! Just as in the days when Israel was set free and You parted the Red Sea, this is the place to be. But,

How can I resist Your tender mercies and Your grace Lord? With my salvation comes my protection. You are my protector and my provider. Even when I fail to thank You or to tell You that I Love You, Your Love for me remains. You say that You take delight in me Lord, with gladness. Just as I do in You. In knowing You I find peace. Just knowing You gives me confidence to push through. You calm all of my fears. In knowing You I find comfort. Even during the times of trial and pain, I can call out Your name and You respond and You are always right there for me. I can hear Your voice as You sing Your songs of joy over me. It was hard for them to see it. No one Lord, not until the ruin actually came upon them did they see it and did they believe it. God, their God, used the Gentiles to bring judgment upon the sinners in Judea. God, don't you know that He works in mysterious ways. He works among the nations. He sometimes uses the heathen nations to bring down afflictions upon His own servants. Why Lord? Why would He do that? For our God is Holy and He cannot tolerate sin and He has good reasons for the things that He does; for His long-suffering ways toward evil men, and for His rebuke of good men. Nahum 1:15 (NLT)   Dear Father Thank you for Your Word. Thank you for the words of Nahum the prophet to Ninevah and the encouraging words he provided Judah when he told them that the enemy would be completely defeated.  The name Nahum is the abbreviated form of the name Nehemiah which means 'comfort'. Lord, You sent a comforting word through Your prophet to Ninevah, the capital of the Assyrian Empire. These were the very same nation of people that had heard the preaching of Jonah one hundred years before and that had repented. Unfortunately, they had fallen back into sin, and it was Nahum's time to lift up his voice and share the vision from You for the nation You are speaking to us

' Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer.' Daniel 10:12 (NLT) The whole process is allowed to go on its way to full completion.  Dear Father. Thank you God for Your Word. Thank you for the words from the prophet Daniel. Thank you that you sent Your angel Gabriel to Daniel as a messenger and to reassure Him. You sent Gabriel to revive his tired spirit and give him full assurance of Your Great Love. You sent Gabriel, straight from Your Throne and He was a warring angel. Battles were being fought in the heavens, as Daniel was fighting his battles on the earths realm as well through fasting, prayers, petitions, humiliation and the rest. Prayer Warriors! Just as he did then, so do we pray, and may Your Kingdom come Lord. Some take it by force. Some need to learn to fight. Let Your will be done in us. No

Revelation 5:8 (MSG)   Dear Father Thank you for Your Word. Thank you for the words of the prophet Ezekiel. We read Your Word and we are encouraged by it, for in his vision of the four living creatures that are round about You, Ezekiel speaks of plurality in unity and purpose and of how You are in control of all things. 'All her carved images shall be beaten to pieces,      all her wages shall be burned with fire,      and all her idols I will lay waste, for from the fee of a prostitute she gathered them,      and to the fee of a prostitute they shall return.' Micah 1:7 (ESV) For the sake of the gold and silver, all carved images will be beaten to pieces.  Dear Father Thank you for Your Word. Thank you for the words You gave us from the prophet Micah. Please forgive us when we have failed You and failed to expose those that blaspheme Your Great Name and corrupt Your Word. Please forgive those men and women in the Church that have deceived many and sought monetary gain from spiritual matters and religious doctrine. They were weak and committed spiritual adultery and did not teach the essentials. Your Temple will not protect false prophets and their punishments answer the sins and now, their very wealth will be destroyed by fire, their numbers will turn to naught, and their worthless idols

' The people of Nineveh believed God’s message, and from the greatest to the least, they declared a fast and put on burlap to show their sorrow.' Jonah 3:5 (NLT) Dear Father Thank you for Your Word. Thank you for the message from Jonah to Jesus that seems so relevant to us today. For it is today, this day, March 15th, that our President has called us to pray. He has declared March 15th, 2020, as a National Day of Prayer amidst the coronavirus crisis. He reminds us to pray for one another as we ought as a country of believers throughout our great history have done. He reminds us to pray during good times and bad and to look to You for our protection and for our strength during times like these. We have sinned against You Lord. We ask You for forgiveness. We follow our President's example and we pray. We follow Jonah's example and we pray. For even a small amount of light can illuminate the darkness, even a small amount of water can refresh a dry and thirsty land.
