More Prayers

'And when the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures saw the Lamb had taken the scroll, they fell facedown at the feet of the Lamb and worshiped him. Each of them had a harp and golden bowls brimming full of sweet fragrant incense—which are the prayers of God’s holy lovers.' Revelation 5:8 (TPT)


This is such a powerful symbolic visual of heaven that every intercessor should know. Consider the scene around the Throne of the elders, creatures and the Lamb. This image is awe inspiring enough, but then you read the rest of John's vision and are encouraged by it. Everyone is holding a harp and is worshiping the Lamb. Facedown worship.

Facedown worship in heaven to the Lamb that was found worthy. The worship that includes the harp and the golden bowls. The golden bowls of intercessory prayers are being offered up by God's holy lovers. The worship and the prayers go together.

Just imagine that we are the worshiping intercessors, ascending to offer up another prayer that helps to fill our own golden bowl. These bowls are brimming with the sweet fragrant incense of all of our prayers. We desire our IHOP style praise and worship in order to feed the flames of the fire on the altar. We establish our 24/7 prayer teams to keep the bowls brimming and the eternal flames burning. Our faith is increased and our prayer times expand in order to keep the altar fires burning hot. The hotter the altar fires burn, the more effective our prayers become. More prayers. More fire. More power. Holy. Holy. Holy. The whole House is filled with His Glory.

Up is Down Times

‘What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.’ Isaiah 5:20.   The Word of God really is like a light unto my feet, it illuminates my thoughts, it justifies my behaviors. The Word of God is good.    The Word of God is good because it reveals the Truth. God is Truth. God warns those that light up the darkness in order to rebel against Him. Darkness is sin. And in darkness sin is used to cover up sin. Lies are told to justify the ungodly; bitter is sweet, dark is light, up is down. Woe to those that condone and therefore justify sin. The Look
