Anastasis

'But don’t rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven.”' Luke 10:20 (NLT)


'Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.  Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”John 11:25-26 (NLT)

Resist the temptation of pride for all the victories over the enemy. Pride goes before destruction. a haughty spirit before a fall. For doesn't God resist the proud and shows favor to the humble? In this, I am encouraged to find joy in what is proper, with fear and trembling, and that is the fact that my name is written in the Lamb's book of life and not that I have discovered the mighty power that I now possess in His name. 

Rejoice. For a life well lived is God's Will. Rejoice. For a life not wasted, but rather, lived for God's Glory blesses God. Rejoice. For a life that blesses God lasts and it is eternal. Jesus is the resurrection and the life. He is the Resurrecting King. And we shall rejoice in His Name. And we shall sing praises to the King for ever! 

Dear Father. We praise the name of Jesus, that every day, tens of thousands of people are being saved in Jesus's name all over the world and heaven rejoices at the sound of it because their names are registered in heaven and they will never ever die!  In Jesus's name. Amen.

Up is Down Times

‘What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.’ Isaiah 5:20.   The Word of God really is like a light unto my feet, it illuminates my thoughts, it justifies my behaviors. The Word of God is good.    The Word of God is good because it reveals the Truth. God is Truth. God warns those that light up the darkness in order to rebel against Him. Darkness is sin. And in darkness sin is used to cover up sin. Lies are told to justify the ungodly; bitter is sweet, dark is light, up is down. Woe to those that condone and therefore justify sin. God will deal with them justly. God is Holy. Justice will be served.   And don't we see it being played out on the intellectual side? Being smart in the ways of the world might gain you some position of power and some stuff, but worldliness is lacking in righteousness and it will never prevail. The Look
