A Warrant to Believe

'By “the Lord” what I mean is the Spirit, and in any heart where the Spirit of the Lord is present, there is liberty.' 2 Corinthians 3:17 (VOICE)

Holy Spirit thou art welcome in this place. For wherever the Spirit is there is Life and Liberty. The Spirit brings with it freedom. Joy. Believers, we are blessed. God is gracious. Through the Cross, He has given us a way to be free from the law of sin and death. The veil between us and God has been lifted. The Holy Spirit brings the Light of Christ which illuminates and frees us from former blindness and darkness. The Spirit brings regeneration and sanctification as we are changed and made more like Christ everyday. We are free to walk in the ways of the Lord. Oh how we need thee this very hour Holy Spirit. Issue to us a warrant not as in the world and its laws, but of the gospel to believe. We do believe in You. Thank You Lord!

Dear Father

We repent to You this day, that we have failed to seek more of You. You know that we love You. You know that we care, but, we are still blinded by the enemy and aren't even aware. We were deceived. We have allowed the flesh to play church for too long. Please lift the veil, allow greater Holy Spirit access so that we might have freedom to serve You better.

Though the world tries to imitate You and frees men from their prison punishment prematurely, we know that sin must be dealt with. It brings upon itself judgment and punishment. We are all guilty. We have all sinned. No one can free the heart but You Lord. No one can give true liberty to the lost without Your Presence. You are a fair and righteous Judge. We place our trust in You. We are called to pray.

 We pray for wisdom and safety for our President and for our leaders. Heal our nation Lord.

We invite you into our hearts today. Heal our minds. Change us. Open our eyes to see You. Thank you for Your Word. We want to see Your face. We are hungry for more. We are in a desperate situation that we have brought on ourselves, we have acted stupidly, we see the errors of our ways, we have tried to go on ahead without You and we need You to save us. Quicken our spirits. We need all of You.

Holy Spirit. Bring your Power. Burn out the evil that is among us. We are guilty of much sin. Greed. Envy. Pride. We repent. We need Jesus. Remove this guilt and condemnation that we are feeling. We turn our lives over to You. Take over. Remove this chaos. Restore peace. Return us to right living and righteousness for Your sake. We believe. We love. We obey.

In Jesus' name.

Amen.

Lessons from the Bible can reassure us of God's love for us and they show us that His ways are good and so much higher than our own. How powerful. In Chapter three, the evil ideas of Haman, to have all the Jews exterminated, had been decreed by the king, and the money set aside in an account for the diabolical deeds and the date was set on the calendar for the bloodshed! That part is so incredible, that one man was given that much power. Just imagine it if you were a Jew. The date for the destruction of your entire race was set and the preparations to follow through with it were being made. Thankfully, our God is greater. Our God is able.
