Pouring it Out

'Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!' Malachi 3:10 (NLT)

For those of you that have turned away from God, you should know that He is always most gracious in His call and request for you to return. How could anyone ever think of turning away from our God? How do we honor Him? How do we do it? With our tithe. He is a budget stretcher and a most honest and generous banker. Not just part of it, but we are to bring to Him the entire tithe. No partial giving. No imitations. No delays. Where do we bring our tithe? We are to bring our tithe and place it in the church storehouse or offering plate. Do it now. Do it quickly. When we see that the church storehouses are full then we can rest assured that His preachers and servants will have enough food and be able to take care of themselves and do the business of the church properly and that God's kingdom will advance.

When we all do our part and follow what God has instructed us to do His mission can go forth. He is not limited. It takes food to feed an army. They need supplies and equipment. It's what we have been called to do. It is amazing what God can do with only ten percent. When we test Him in this He will open up the windows of heaven for us. When we bring our tithe to Him we don't do it to be blessed, but to be a blessing and we can stand back and watch in amazement to see how much He will bless us for our obedience. He loves pouring it out. He will bless our spirit first and then He will also take care of our physical needs. He is always generous and He always supplies all of our needs. He turns that which we give Him around and multiplies the giving and gives it right back to us in the form of superabundant rain, so that our crops will produce and that whatever seeds that we plant will give forth fruit.

Just perhaps, you don't have because you don't give. Our weaknesses are not an excuse to sin. Our spiritual conditions need more attention than what we see and feel in the natural right now.

Dear Father
We thank You for Your Word and that Your Promises are true. We turn back to You in obedience and we pray to You for forgiveness. We lay our tithes in your storehouse and we thank You for multiplying it and using it to build Your Kingdom. We also thank You that You are most generous and that You always hear us and take care of us. Thank you Holy Spirit for this reminder that if we don't have enough that maybe it's not Your fault but our own. Maybe we don't have enough because we have lost our minds and our way and have tried to steal from You.

Forgive us Lord if that is the case. We will trust You and we will obey. You are always ready to bless us, make us ready to receive. Don't let us limit You God. Increase our Faith. Keep us on our knees in prayer, giving joyfully and expecting greater things. Keep us looking up to You. Keep us dreaming big and keeping our hearts and hands open wide and ready to give and to receive. Just maybe, we're going to need a bigger storehouse to get through this!

We thank you for answering our healing prayers. Open Your windows in heaven and rain down on us that which we need. Don't hesitate to get our attention and to correct us for our disobedience. We love you Lord. We know that You Love us.
In Jesus's mighty name.
Amen.
