Perilous Times and Perilous Men

'Don’t be naive. There are difficult times ahead. As the end approaches, people are going to be self-absorbed, money-hungry, self-promoting, stuck-up, profane, contemptuous of parents, crude, coarse, dog-eat-dog, unbending, slanderers, impulsively wild, savage, cynical, treacherous, ruthless, bloated windbags, addicted to lust, and allergic to God. They’ll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they’re animals. Stay clear of these people.' 2 Timothy 3: 1-5 (MSG)

There have always been persecutions from without, but in the end of days there will be corruption from within as well. People will not desire to please God but concern themselves more with themselves and what they can get. These unholy animals will not fear God nor are they thankful for the mercies that He brings as they creep in and set out to destroy.

With everything that we've got, God must be loved and the things of God kept holy. God is Love. He cautions us of the difficult times ahead. During the birth pains, as the end approaches, when you see carnal man with his artful and crafty ways of flattery bring a form of godliness into the body, in order to find favor and influence, but having no real Holy Spirit power, from these hypocrites one must withdrawal. Don't be naive. They despise the good. They are prejudiced against the Truth. Be warned. These are perilous times. With groanings too deep for words. For safety reason, withdraw we shall. For the faith-less and ruthless spirits of error types must be released for a time and for no longer than God will allow.
