You say because of You and the life that You have lived through me that it is a crown of honor! Lord, I've loved every minute of this life You have given me. It's been an honor to serve You. Please continue to live through me. When they find me I pray that it be on Silvertop in Your Way of righteousness. Not dissatisfied, content. Don't disguise, share. Continue to teach me Your ways so that I might meet, greet and share in the Feast of the Open Book with young women just as hungry for Your Word as I have been. 'You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid.' Matthew 5:14 (RSV) Holy Spirit referred me back to this verse. Admittedly, this day I am feeling a little vulnerable after a weekend away from technology and so feeling just a bit cut off from the world and eager to get back into it and to get caught up with everyone. What have I missed? Someone I don't even know was able to consume 49 of my devotionals this weekend! How awesome is that? I am praying for you Jenny! Then I heard a word of encouragement from a friend who's husband had lost his wallet two weeks ago. She reported that this weekend he miraculously found it. Holy Spirit did reveal where it was, and after several searches in that place, now it is found. Thank you Lord. My faith is boosted again. God You are so Faithful! Then there is this Word in Matthew. How Jesus blesses us in the Beatitudes and tells us we are to be light, and He even connects 'you' to a city.

'And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church,   which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.' Ephesians 1:22-23 (NASB) Jesus Christ is ruler over all creation. He is the supreme ruler of all nations. The universe is under His control. He controls all angels in heaven as well as fallen angels.  He is Savior of all men. ' He is the head of the body, which is the church. Everything comes from him. He is the first one who was raised from the dead. So in all things Jesus has first place.' Colossians 1:18 (NCV) It would be wise to pay close attention to the pump that moves the blood and to listen for the very heartbeat of God and know that the Church is the body of Christ and He is the head. Just a few weeks ago He led me to start my devotional study of the favorite verse from each one of the 66 Books of the Bible. I can attest to the fact that time goes by too fast. Now, today I celebrate and look to the last Book, the Book of Revelation, t he Book that was written by and was the vision of the Apostle John during his exile on the island of Patmos Little did I know that the favorite verse of each Book of the Bible is a controversial subject. He doesn't want to lose anyone of us. He is waiting for the numbers to be complete. Take the Ark of Noah for example. It takes awhile to build a boat. Boat building takes time. The Ark is no ordinary boat! God is no ordinary God. With every swing of the hammer and hitting of the nail on the head, God brings me closer to a changed heart and a changed life. He puts me in the middle of His Will and gives me the wherewithal to deal with it, while He is dealing with me and taking me to the end of myself so that He can use me. Thank you Lord. Welcome to Apologetics!  She was knocked down by the enemy before and today even though she may be panting she is still breathing. She is alive and well and beginning to give the world an answer to the call. And She is ready. Holy Spirit has prepared Her for this day! Thank you God. James 5:16 (NCV) None but the one who's law has been violated or who has been wronged can pardon an offense.  Only God can forgive sins.  And yet, we should all pray for one another. All healing comes from God. So then, are we to say, that our sick bed can be a place of healing where as while we are in it we have the time to reflect on the bad things that we have done and thus we may be lead to repentance through our pain? So be it.   The daily energetic prayers of the one made righteous through Christ is inspired by the Holy Spirit and will prevail. God can heal you. Great things happen when we pray. Dear Father.   'Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.' Hebrews 13:8 (NCV) The Jesus of the Old Testament days has not changed even during the current days of Grace. He is still about bringing His children to repentance and welcoming the sinner home. Jesus is my Lord and Savior. Through Him I find my peace and my strength. In Him lies all Mercy and Grace. He wields all Power through Humility for He has total Authority. His ways bring forth brotherly love for one another through righteous living and freedom and hatred for the effects of sin and death. Jesus is the same. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He never tires or needs to take a break. He is my prayer partner and my advocate with the Father. My heart is established in Him. I can trust Him and all of His promises in that His ways of kingdom building are True and Worthy for all and for all eternity. Amen. Dear Father I thank you for Your Word. With much joy they knew that this was the best course of action to take, not only for themselves, but for their tribe and their country as well.
