'Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: “Look! I am placing a foundation stone in Jerusalem,a firm and tested stone. It is a precious cornerstone that is safe to build on.Whoever believes need never be shaken.I will test you with the measuring line of justiceand the plumb line of righteousness. Since your refuge is made of lies,a hailstorm will knock it down.Since it is made of deception,a flood will sweep it away.' Isaiah 28:16-17 (NLT)
'But God’s truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and “All who belong to the Lord must turn away from evil.”' Timothy 2:19 (NLT)
When
in times of need, it never hurts to look to Christ for the answer. He
promised to provide for all that we need. Why not look to Him? He was
sent to die for all mankind and to be the foundation stone chosen by God
for the Church and the cornerstone in which His Church was build upon.
He was and is righteous and able to support it. He was and is the
Perfect Plummet Stone. He is the perfect plummet stone which is the Tool
that all quality builders use. All that place their faith in Him should
have no reason to worry.
For
those who put their faith in Him, He is the only hope of escape from
the wrath that is to come. For justification, the believer puts their
trust in His righteousness alone. For wisdom and strength we rely on the
ministry of the Holy Spirit. In God we find His favor and through Him
we find our peace, joy and happiness.
For
those who put their faith in themselves they will find themselves to be
inadequate in the spiritual realm and in the ways of God. God set up
His Kingdom with His Laws and God will judge us based on His Laws which
are fair and just. We are not able to live by His Laws on our own. He
will bless all who choose to believe in Him and to live under His Rule
of Law and they will live and for those that don't believe He will
destroy.
For
His Truth stands firm and yet He may be calling me to give up some
things. He may be putting me to the test. He may be telling me to purge
and to clean out a few rooms in my refuge in order to make more room for
Him in my life. Knowing Him is knowing that He loves me and only wants
the best for me. He paid a great price for me and the peace and the joy
that I find in Him will cost me something as well. I will have to part
with the things of this world that I have placed my faith in that are
not of Him. Be gone you lies of the enemy, be gone with you and good
riddance. To the hail and to the floods you things of evil that distract
me must go. Spiritual gains for Him will far outweigh the losses to
myself and my flesh. For His Glory I gladly give. I belong to Him. I
turn away from evil and I turn to Him.
Dear Father.
Thank
you for Your most amazing and timely Word! I am free when I submit my
life to You and live by that Word of Truth. Bless and keep my wonderful
family. Michael and Brittany, Eric and Sannah, Samantha and David and
Sarah and Debbie have been so helpful during the purging and cleaning
season You are putting us all through. Include my husband and friends
Darla and Anna and the rest. I love them all Lord.
Open
my eyes to see the things that matter, the eternal. Thank you for that
last box of baby clothes eye opener last night. Oh how patient is the
man that you have given me as a life partner. No less than six times has
he had to move that box! Spirits that bind, set free! Attitudes that
clutter and won't let go, gone and done! Your timing is always perfect.
Whoever believes need never be shaken!
Special healing prayers for Kathy and Myrna during their cancer battles. Thank you Lord.
In Jesus's name.
Amen.

'But in Mount Zion there shall be those who escape and it shall be holy, and the house of Jacob shall possess their own possessions. The house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau stubble; they shall burn them and consume them, and there shall be no survivor for the house of Esau, for the Lord has spoken.' Obadiah 17-18 !ESV) Dear Father Thank You for Your Word. Thank you for the words of the prophet Obadiah. Thank you Lord for the freedoms that we have in America. Through You we are like the house of Jacob and are able to possess our own possessions. We are the House that You built. We pray for our country and her people Lord. Amen! For we know that You have chosen us and called us to be salt and light. As in the days of Jacob, Joseph and Esau, we see that You chasten Your people for their own good. Just as then, we can see the s...
' Let the word of the Anointed One richly inhabit your lives. With all wisdom teach, counsel, and instruct one another. Sing the psalms, compose hymns and songs inspired by the Spirit, and keep on singing—sing to God from hearts full and spilling over with thankfulness.' Colossians 3:15 (VOICE) Paul instructs me to sing. The physical and emotional benefits of singing are many. Singing is good for me. Singing improves my memory and helps to diminish my depression. Singing helps me to feel the thoughts and words that I am singing about. The songs help me to connect my mind, body and spirit. Not just any song though, but I am to sing psalms, hymns and songs inspired by the Spirit! I am to sing the Word! I am to let the Words of Christ richly inhabit my life! With all the wisdom of the ages we are to teach one another. In the past, most people could not read or write, so they told their stories through songs. Even now, we teach our children and grandchildren the t...
' Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.' Proverbs 3:9-10 (NLT) I am to give back the first fruits of what God has blessed me with in the first place. So in my willingness to obey Him in this I honor God in giving him the first and the best of everything that He has given to me. Likewise, it is not to be the meager portion, no rather to make my gifts extravagant! Not the miserly mindset, no rather to give it joyfully and make it generous. Not the merest amount, no rather to make my tithe the most! I would be wise to do it and not hold back or rob God. Slack leads to lack. I would be generous to follow in this way as God is generous to me. He always takes care of all my needs. He owns it all. I find that this is the way to prosperity. I give to be a blessing, it is most ple...
