Ruler of the Universe

 'He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation  for in him all things in heaven and on earth were created, things visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or powers—all things have been created through him and for him.' Colossians 1:15-16 (NRSV)

 Jesus is God the Son. Jesus is equal with God the Father. Jesus is God in human form. He is creator. He is creator of all things. He rules supreme. He is ruler over everything. The invisible becomes visible. The unseen becomes the seen. In God's Kingdom there are so many possibilities. Anything can happen. It's remarkable the things that our God can do. Some things are a mystery but through His Word He is making everything known.

Dear Father
Thank you for Your Word. Thank you for Your Son Jesus who is more than a mere image of You but He is You incarnate and bears the image of both heaven and earth, You eternal, Your first begotten, Emmanuel, Messiah, seed of Abraham, son of David, Kingdom revealed, Ruler over all kings of the earth, the brightness of the glory and character of You the Father.

Thank you for the Holy Spirit that is alive in me and is day by day changing me from glory to glory into the image of the glorified Christ. Though some can choose to ignore You, but only by reason of insanity can one choose to deny Your existence.

Christ is the head of the Church and we are His body. He is in full view and He is reconciling the whole fallen world to Himself. He is pleased to do it. He owns it all. He set the hope before us. In Him we find our Joy. We honor You this day with our prayers. We praise You for what You have done and for what You are doing.
In Jesus's name.
Amen.

The Look

' By “the Lord” what I mean is the Spirit, and in any heart where the Spirit of the Lord is present, there is liberty.' 2 Corinthians 3:17 (VOICE ) Holy Spirit thou art welcome in this place. For wherever the Spirit is there is Life and Liberty. The Spirit brings with it freedom. Joy. Believers, we are blessed. God is gracious. Through the Cross, He has given us a way to be free from the law of sin and death. The veil between us and God has been lifted. The Holy Spirit brings the Light of Christ which illuminates and frees us from former blindness and darkness. The Spirit brings regeneration and sanctification as we are changed and made more like Christ everyday. We are free to walk in the ways of the Lord. Oh how we need thee this very hour Holy Spirit.
