It's Not in Vain


If God said it, then you can rest assured that once it has been uttered the result will be achieved.  That He is creative, we can see, that He means to prosper us, that we can be certain. Pray the Word. His words have power and purpose. For they bring life if never spoken in vain. For they are like seeds that will never fail to produce. Proven to be True from generation to generation. Nothing can possibly stand in the way of the Lord’s will for His Word does not return to Him void. 
Dear Father.

 Thank you for Your Word. I have learned over the years to be faithful in performing Your Will and to pray Your Word. You are Mighty. Your Words are Life and they are mighty to save. So we believe. So we send them out. Thank you for Your promises. Thank you for the faith that You have given me for the little things. Thank you for the Holy Spirit Power that is behind the answers to my prayers in the big things. I love You Lord.

In Jesus' name.

Amen.

The Look

But what seems impossible to you is never impossible to God!”' Matthew 19:26 (TPT) So if the poor deal with envy and the rich with pride, who then can get in? Who can be saved? None, except through the grace of God. Only God can save us. Only God can change the hearts and minds of men. When we were sinners You pursued us and turned our hearts toward You.  With just one look You could see into our souls. You knew what we needed. You did what needed to be done. Don't Forget to Celebrate

' Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV) The direction went out to all. Go and enjoy. Everyone was included in the instruction to go. He was not pointing to a certain group but even included those that had nothing prepared. Send some choice food and sweet drinks to them. No fasting. No grieving. This is a holy day unto the Lord! To the rich and to the poor, to the widows and to the orphans, to the young and to the old, he said, do not grieve.  The wall was completed. The work was finished. The first great revival and preaching and understanding of the Word had taken place! It was time to celebrate with good food and drink. Find the joy in that. The strength is right there. Up is Down Times

‘What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.’ Isaiah 5:20.   The Word of God really is like a light unto my feet, it illuminates my thoughts, it justifies my behaviors. The Word of God is good.    The Word of God is good because it reveals the Truth. God is Truth. God warns those that light up the darkness in order to rebel against Him. Darkness is sin. And in darkness sin is used to cover up sin. Lies are told to justify the ungodly; bitter is sweet, dark is light, up is down. Woe to those that condone and therefore justify sin. God will deal with them justly. God is Holy. Justice will be served.   And don't we see it being played out on the intellectual side? Being smart in the ways of the world might gain you some position of power and some stuff, but worldliness is lacking in righteousness and it will never prevail.
