Encouraging My Small Group

'You are the body of the Anointed One, and each of you is a unique and vital part of it' 1 Corinthians 12:27 (TPT)

I need to know who I am in order to effectively meet the needs of those that I have been called to serve. If I know who I am in Christ, then I could identify the things of this world that are unnatural spirits such as the unhealthy sins of greed, envy and strife. Then I can pray against those things. But Gods ways are higher. He has equipped His body to be the hands and feet of Christ.  Haven't you noticed? God has given us a place in small groups and He has given us each other and equipped us all with the gifts that are natural spirits in the heavenly realm. We are vital to the Kingdom. God has given us all exactly what we need.

Our needs in the body of Christ are many and they are all supplied by the Anointed One. In Him there are gifts differing.

When I look around me, I see that God has blessed us with hearts to encourage: One to teach with a word of wisdom; One to preach to increase the faith with a word of knowledge; One to anoint with oil and to heal. These are how God shines His favor on us.

There are so many of us too: One to gift with their finances; One to pray for miracles; One to prophecy God's Word to us all,  and; One to discern the good from the bad. These are the things of this world given to us by the Spirit that we are to desire.

We desire much: One to pray in the heavenly language; One to interpret. In this small group of believers we are to be aware of each other's gifts and also our needs and to act on that awareness. When we pray for one another and pay attention to each other's needs in love, then we make ourselves known to the world through the gifts of the Spirit by the Love of God.

We know what the enemy uses to take us out of the spiritual battles. He works through the pillars of society; religion, family, education, entertainment, government, financial, and even health care to distract and to discourage. We can see how God is rising up His Anointed Army that cannot be used for evil and absolutely will not be fooled again by the lies and deceptions of the forces of darkness.

God has said it. So be it. To God be the Glory. Amen.
