God is Magnificent

'God is magnificent; he can never be praised enough.

There are no boundaries to his greatness. 'Psalm 145:3 (MSG)

The Lord over me is the Lord over all. He is my Lord and He is the Lord. My God is good and He is very good. I worship His majesty in all of His glory. He is perfection. My God Reigns!

I can praise Him for the rain. I can praise Him for the rain He provided over this past weekend that came just at the right time to help the corn grow. I can praise Him that each ear is filling out to perfection because of the rain that He provided. God provides the rain for the crops so in this way God provides for the farmer. God provides for me and my husband who is a farmer. The farmer provides for the rest of us by producing the crops that we eat. I prayed for the rain and God saw my need and answered my prayer. Because of the rain, there are no boundaries to God's greatness.

For the seed to grow it takes rain. For the seed to grow it takes a farmer. The seed needs someone to put it in the ground. You know that it does and it gets put into the ground by ingenuity. Even to get delivered to the planter takes a remarkable army of people all of them cooperating and all of them benefiting from what they contribute. That's what makes them happy to do it. Once it's in the ground it has to rely on the earth for protection and the worms that are in it for air, the sun for warmth, the wind to make the stocks stronger and the rain for moisture to grow. With everything that is going against it, it grows with everything that its got. So many things have to occur to help it along the way. Bugs and weeds must be controlled. Deer and other predators must be maintained.  Tender loving care is so required. Nothing is neglected. Nothing is left to chance. God provides the seeds, and just about everything else. God designed the seed and in the design He told it how to grow. He is the magnificent architect to design such an incredible system of agriculture.

For the seed to be harvested it takes a determined farmer. One that knows the seasons. One that sets aside his time. One that has been working on the machinery of harvest all summer. One that has the attitude to see that the job gets done. He is dedicated and he is skilled in what he does. He has a battle on his hands. The farmer is a warrior. I should never take for granted the sacrifices and the contributions that the farmer makes for me. The farmer can accomplish incredible things when he puts his mind to it. God developed the mind of the farmer so that he might use it to think through the complicated issues of life. Without the ability to think how could it be that the farmer would ever make things better? How could anything of value ever be dreamed and birthed without my mind? The minds of men and women are God's magnificent creation. He created us. He created me to worship Him. Amen.

Dear Father. Thank you for the rain. Thank you for the standard of right and wrong and the system of Justice that you established for Your children. You have given us a great gift, the ability to see. We see what it would be like when the world chooses another way, the way of socialism that leads to atheism that leads to the government making the standard of right and wrong and establishing the system of Justice. Where the criminals are set free and morality is lost to those looking to know and to be known. Heaven help us. God turn this upside down world back around.
In Jesus' name.
Amen
