Love of God Overflow

'You set a table for me in the presence of my foes. You drench my head with oil. My cup is overflowing. Surely goodness and mercy will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.' Psalm 23:5-6 (EHV)


Even though the enemy sets out to destroy me, God delivers me in spite of them. God delivers and God also prepares and provides. God prepares the banquet and provides the table with the entire feast while my opponents watch on in jealous rage and powerless annoyance at the prosperity. God, You remembered everything. 
The celebration is real. The table is lacking nothing as One of great wealth and abundance would provide. You own it all. You own everything and You love me! I couldn't be any happier.
I am filled with Your fullness and Your favor is upon me. You demonstrate Your favor daily, as One would do who knew me before, in my filthy condition. After all, I was coming into Your presence from yet another battle; dirty, smelly, tired and weary. You were ready for me. You cleaned me up and even provide the expensive perfumes and oils for my head and my joy and my health and comfort will be forever found in You.
Dear Father

You are the bread of life. You are the oil of gladness. You are the cup of salvation. You are Holy. You are my Love of God overflow.

You prepare the table for me and that is why the enemy is surfacing. You are my healer. Be the Lord and Healer for those in need. I pray for Kelly's mom and Debbie's mom and dad this day. Please heal them. Strengthen their families. Give them peace. Meet all of their needs according to the riches of His Glory in Christ.

I pray this twenty-fifth day before the election. Forgive us where we have failed you. Restore us to be your faithful followers, lovers of Your Word, walking together in the Spirit, helping and serving one another in unity as we live out your Will in Righteousness and Truth. Thank you Lord.

Up is Down Times

‘What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.’ Isaiah 5:20.   The Word of God really is like a light unto my feet, it illuminates my thoughts, it justifies my behaviors. The Word of God is good.    The Word of God is good because it reveals the Truth. God is Truth. God warns those that light up the darkness in order to rebel against Him. Darkness is sin. And in darkness sin is used to cover up sin. Lies are told to justify the ungodly; bitter is sweet, dark is light, up is down. Woe to those that condone and therefore justify sin. God will deal with them justly. God is Holy. Justice will be served.   And don't we see it being played out on the intellectual side?
