Life in America

' For this commandment that I command you today is not too hard for you, neither is it far off.  It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will ascend to heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’  Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’  But the word is very near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you can do it.

 “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil.  If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you today, by loving the Lord your God, by walking in his ways, and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his rules, then you shall live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to take possession of it. But if your heart turns away, and you will not hear, but are drawn away to worship other gods and serve them,  I declare to you today, that you shall surely perish. You shall not live long in the land that you are going over the Jordan to enter and possess.  I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live,' Deuteronomy 30:11-19 (ESV)

 

Dear Father.

Thank you for your Word. The Word of God is near to us. the Word of God is in us. The Word of God is Christ. We get to choose. Life and death choices. The choice is clear, whether to believe in our heart that the promises of the Messiah are fulfilled in Jesus Christ or not. And then if we confess them with our mouths then we can know that we have Christ with us. Christ in us, beside us and leading us.

The choices couldn't be any clearer. It's all what we know to be true whenever we stop striving long enough to listen. There is a good and a right way to live. There is only One Way to heaven. God, show us Your Glory. Lead us into battle this day Lord.

It's not a mystery to us, it is so very near and we have all heard and seen it. Truth. But there are some that refuse to obey. They will surely soon enough perish. Amen.

We pray for the election just twenty-four days from today. We pray for wisdom. We pray for mercy. Bring to memory the things that we have endured because of the consequences of our own actions. Show us the ancient markers that we must restore. Help us to see more clearly the choices that we have to make on that day. Bring us back to the days of our youth, and that starts with the most important issue that should be on everyone's heart and that is Life! Angel armies destroy the demons that demand the blood of the innocent. Lead your candidate to a landslide victory for Life. Lord, bring us back to your will and guide us to your heart.

God is in charge and He sets up the government systems of the world. Some are broken when they turn away from Him. Take Karl Marx's communism and socialism forms of government. They dictate conformity and equality of outcomes, and they will take away all rights and freedoms to get it. The evil rules of communism will control every thing about your life. They will kill, steal and destroy. They promise big and produce nothing of value. There can be no God or Christianity. Therefore, there can be no hope. The elite set themselves up as gods. Their philosophy is not based on Love. 

We've seen the effects of socialism played out so many times. Some of us may think it sounds good on paper, when we are naive and don't see our differences or realize that we are not all the same. I may love living in a big house on a busy road, but my neighbor lives miles off the road in a two room cabin. I love that about life. God didn't create us all to be alike for a reason. We have God-given rights of equality but we are not promised equal outcomes.

Labeling us and putting us in the same box as some are prone to do, divides us and stifles our creativity and growth. Who can live that way? Who wants to?

The politicians absolutely will not live by the laws they force on the rest of us. It is evil. It is a way that leads to death and is forced on people against their will. Government control at every level? Insane. Fear and chaos will prevail. Along with failure to thrive and hunger. They will take away our choices. In the natural ice cream is not that big of a deal. 39 flavors? Try just two. I like strawberry, so I am screwed. If you wear size 13 shoe you will be fine. Everyone will have to wear size 13 shoe. Everyone must comply with their mandates or die. There will be scarcity and there will be lack. Just think about that for a minute!

We even see evidence in this country that some of our government officials open their meetings by praying to Satan! Insanity. In order to be inclusive? Not when creator God is visibly mocked and excluded. Heaven help them for their ignorance is astounding and their downfall cannot be too far off.

We are so very blessed to live in America. Our life is what we make of it. There are so many opportunities here. We have the greatest country in the world when we push back on the effects of evil. We have to do our part. We have the greatest people in the world. We are a Christian nation. We love God. We walk in his Ways. We keep his Commandments. God is watching over us. God will provide. Just believe.
