Profiting From the Prophets

'Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”' Isaiah 6:8 (NASB)

Christian attended Prophets University and participated in that mission until he heard the Lord's voice which was the official call on his life that helped him to know it even more. He accepted it. Has God called you and given you a mission? Do you know that we are all called to be prophets? You can know it in your spirit but it is the hearing that settles the deal from within, Spirit to spirit. It is the hearing that leads to the reassurance that the calling is real. Hearing His voice leads to the zeal. What you hear becomes what you see. For some, without the passion there is no zeal for it is the passion which leads us to believe. It is the zeal for Him, that causes us to open our mouths to teach and to speak for God. For, how can they know unless they are taught? And, of course, how can they be taught unless someone teaches them?

Comforting and unnerving is the very thought of it: a direct call from Heaven; to hear and to see the Father, Son and Holy Ghost on the Throne. To hear Them direct and instruct and to see and even to feel the power in that which is given is great, for no command is given lest They also anoint. God does the calling and the equipping. No servant is ever sent, lest they are given the proper tools and weapons to accomplish their own version of the Great Commission.

It is a Great Commission, One in which the Church has been given. To be Watchmen. We are to watch and to wait. We are to go when we are called and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey the message of Christ. In this way, one by one, all are saved and come to know Him and His Glory.  Christ's desire is our desire, that none shall be lost. None. No, not even the one. He was sent as the Prophet and now He sends us to reach out to that one which is lost. Even that one, that has strayed from the rest, is precious to Him. He sees him and He knows him. He sees the fear in his eyes and He longs to put that fear to rest. He sees the rebellion in his heart and He knows how to bring the prodigal sons and daughters back to where they belong. He sees their doubts, their regrets and the longing in their soul and is ready to fill the need and supply the prophet.

The prophet is asked, 'will you go' and He responds in the affirmative with a loud 'yes'! Just as the Lord did, His prophet must leave home to find His calling. His calling is to reach out to the sinner. If He leads, He often goes alone. He leaves so very early in the morning. He prays. He seeks, He finds and with the Word He encourages and He restores. That which is lost is brought home. What a Great Witness. How indeed we profit from the Great Prophet. Amen!

There is no greater calling than this! There is no place under the heavens like home to the lost. And Heaven rejoices at the sound when one lost sinner is brought home. We missed you while you were gone they sing. We welcome you home where you belong they say. Please, stay awhile. Make yourself at home. Love is great, there is love enough for everyone here. Know this, that the Lord is Love and He has been watching and waiting for you. Calvary was no easy task. He did it all for you. Now is your time.

Dear Father. Forgive us when we rebel and stray away from You. We were like lost sheep in need of a shepherd. Thank you for loving us and for sending Jesus to save us.  Thank you for calling us to be Your prophets and to speak for You on behalf of the people. Thank you for calling us to be a part of Your Great Commission. Your desire is our desire. Save them all. Thank you for Your anointing.

We pray for this forty-fifth day before the election use your people as your prophets. Bring forth believers to take their place of authority. Change the course. Give us a vision to reclaim our freedoms and to take back authority. Your people want to return to You. Bind the demonic influences that have blinded us. Open our ears to hear only Your voice. Loose the things of heaven, healing, health and peace.

In Jesus's name.

Amen.
