Acts of Devotion

 'But we belong to God, and whoever truly knows God listens to us. Those who refuse to listen to us do not belong to God. That is how we can know the difference between the spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit. 1 John 4:6 (TPT)

To the one that hears, believes and receives Christ by faith, he shall belong to God. For it is by hearing the Word through Christ that we are saved by faith. For whoever it is that knows God and is saved has heard from Him enough about the Truth and acquired the information that was needed to come to the full knowledge of Christ and is then ready and willing to listen to further instructions.

As we live out our lives of faith we ought to live so that it might be assumed based on our character and integrity that we are who we say we are. Our lives and language should be so clearly clean that no one would call our faith into question. It should be crystal clear to us those who embrace the truth and those who do not. Evidence of piety can be found in those who are ready to receive all that God has taught and are devoted to Him. Otherwise, one would not be willing to listen to the things of God or even find it within themselves to pray. Nor would they want to be around those that carry the light of Christ, the light that cleanses and reveals might just expose them and their lies right along with them.

The Spirit of Truth is in opposition to the spirit of error. God is Love. The True doctrine of God in its purest form leads men to Christ and away from the world. For God so loved the world that He sent His only Son Jesus to save her. People of the world are deceived and will cling to those who are like themselves, and who will suit their tastes. The world will love its own.

Dear Father.
WE see that the time is right for us to clear up a few things. We have sinned against Your mighty name. We have neglected You in so many ways. We have said some things that we should not have said. We have done some things that we should not have done. We acted badly. We have denied Your power. We have lost the Faith that we once had in You. We have turned away and we have followed the deceiver. We pray that Your Spirit renew our hearts and clean up our lives and bring us back to the greatness in You that we once were when we believed and lived like we meant it! We see the error in our ways and we regret it all. We repent of our sins in the name of Jesus. Please forgive us Lord!

We are of You. We hear You. Speak clearly to us. Make our paths straight. We follow only the Spirit of Truth. We refuse to take any part in the spirit of error that is bringing death and chaos to this great land.  We love You Lord. Thank You for saving us from ourselves.
In Jesus' name.
Amen.

The Look

A Warrant to Believe

' By “the Lord” what I mean is the Spirit, and in any heart where the Spirit of the Lord is present, there is liberty.' 2 Corinthians 3:17 (VOICE ) Holy Spirit thou art welcome in this place. For wherever the Spirit is there is Life and Liberty. The Spirit brings with it freedom. Joy. Believers, we are blessed. God is gracious. Through the Cross, He has given us a way to be free from the law of sin and death. The veil between us and God has been lifted. The Holy Spirit brings the Light of Christ which illuminates and frees us from former blindness and darkness. The Spirit brings regeneration and sanctification as we are changed and made more like Christ everyday. We are free to walk in the ways of the Lord. Oh how we need thee this very hour Holy Spirit.
