'But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For
among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women,
burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth.Just
as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the
truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, as was that of those two men.' 2 Timothy 3:1-9 (ESV)
Dear Father
Thank
you for Your Word. Your Word teaches that there will be difficult
times. In those days that Paul wrote to Timothy about, there will be
people that have gone mad. The evidence? There will be a time when
people will wrongly love their BODIES and themselves more than You. The
likes of these will love their money, silver coins, things of silver and
gold, and even the things it will buy, more than You.
The
lawless will love the government of man more than Your SPIRITUAL
Government. They will be reckless in their dealings and actions and will
despise the things of You Lord and rebel against Your Will and Your
Way.
The
abusers will be opposed to the Truth and corrupted in MIND and
disqualified regarding the Faith. You say that we are to avoid such as
these and that their folly will be exposed for all to see and that they
won't get very far in their evil plots and endeavors.
Thank
you Lord that You Love Your own enough to give them a Word of warning.
Thank you also that You will comfort them and keep them safe during
these days. We pray for the lost. Save them all.
In Jesus's name.
Amen.

'But in Mount Zion there shall be those who escape and it shall be holy, and the house of Jacob shall possess their own possessions. The house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau stubble; they shall burn them and consume them, and there shall be no survivor for the house of Esau, for the Lord has spoken.' Obadiah 17-18 !ESV) Dear Father Thank You for Your Word. Thank you for the words of the prophet Obadiah. Thank you Lord for the freedoms that we have in America. Through You we are like the house of Jacob and are able to possess our own possessions. We are the House that You built. We pray for our country and her people Lord. Amen! For we know that You have chosen us and called us to be salt and light. As in the days of Jacob, Joseph and Esau, we see that You chasten Your people for their own good. Just as then, we can see the s...
' Let the word of the Anointed One richly inhabit your lives. With all wisdom teach, counsel, and instruct one another. Sing the psalms, compose hymns and songs inspired by the Spirit, and keep on singing—sing to God from hearts full and spilling over with thankfulness.' Colossians 3:15 (VOICE) Paul instructs me to sing. The physical and emotional benefits of singing are many. Singing is good for me. Singing improves my memory and helps to diminish my depression. Singing helps me to feel the thoughts and words that I am singing about. The songs help me to connect my mind, body and spirit. Not just any song though, but I am to sing psalms, hymns and songs inspired by the Spirit! I am to sing the Word! I am to let the Words of Christ richly inhabit my life! With all the wisdom of the ages we are to teach one another. In the past, most people could not read or write, so they told their stories through songs. Even now, we teach our children and grandchildren the t...
' Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.' Proverbs 3:9-10 (NLT) I am to give back the first fruits of what God has blessed me with in the first place. So in my willingness to obey Him in this I honor God in giving him the first and the best of everything that He has given to me. Likewise, it is not to be the meager portion, no rather to make my gifts extravagant! Not the miserly mindset, no rather to give it joyfully and make it generous. Not the merest amount, no rather to make my tithe the most! I would be wise to do it and not hold back or rob God. Slack leads to lack. I would be generous to follow in this way as God is generous to me. He always takes care of all my needs. He owns it all. I find that this is the way to prosperity. I give to be a blessing, it is most ple...
