Effulgence!

 'The Son is the dazzling radiance of God’s splendor, the exact expression of God’s true nature—his mirror image! He holds the universe together and expands it by the mighty power of his spoken word. He accomplished for us the complete cleansing of sins, and then took his seat on the highest throne at the right hand of the majestic One.' Hebrews 1:3 (TPT)


Behold! God's final Word and it was just what we needed. A Shining forth, Jesus! God's radiance is so bright that no one can look on Him and live, so He sent His son to us-His mirror image. The Gospel revelation was perfect for as we have seen the power, the wisdom and the goodness of Jesus we have seen the power, the wisdom and the goodness of the Father. And that is why we are encouraged to keep our eyes on Jesus.

Our eyes are on Him as the fullness of God rests in Jesus and even when the world was falling apart under the curse He took on the work of redemption and held everything together. For His life was an example of His Love and His Grace is here for us all to see and to share. His Way to salvation, for us, couldn't be made more clear and couldn't be any easier. In His brilliant radiance He has done it, He accomplished everything, for in Him, we, the believer find our hope and are cleansed from the burdens of sin.

Behold! My hope lies in Jesus, the Savior of the world and though I could never understand how He could love me so much to die for me, this I do know, that He sets on the highest throne and I will praise His name forever!

Lessons from the Bible can reassure us of God's love for us and they show us that His ways are good and so much higher than our own. How powerful. In Chapter three, the evil ideas of Haman, to have all the Jews exterminated, had been decreed by the king, and the money set aside in an account for the diabolical deeds and the date was set on the calendar for the bloodshed! That part is so incredible, that one man was given that much power. Just imagine it if you were a Jew. The date for the destruction of your entire race was set and the preparations to follow through with it were being made. Thankfully, our God is greater. Our God is able.
