Silver Cord

 So before the silver cord is snapped and the golden bowl is shattered: before the earthen jar is smashed at the spring and the wheel at the well is broken—before the dust returns to the earth that gave it and the spirit-breath returns to God who breathed it, let us remember our Creator.' Ecclesiastes 12:6-7 (VOICE)


 Dear Father
Thank you for Your Word. Thank you for Your Spirit. Thank you for Your Son. We pray for the elderly and the youth. 

In the elderly, you give us this description of what happens during death. We pray for the spinal cord and the bone marrow, the heart, the blood the arteries and the vessels, and the bones and the muscles and the brain. We pray for the elderly that their pain be relieved and that their inflammation be healed in Jesus name. For the young and for the old we pray for their mobility. Send angels to surround them so that they might not fall. Pour Your healing oil over their bodies so that all infirmity, including all mental illnesses, heart disease, cancers, diabetes, and lung disease be healed.
 
I pray for those that are blessed by their youth and energy and breath that they find You and that they join You in Your building project, while they still can, before the things of time and old age overtake them. We remember our creator.

I pray for tabernacle workers for Your Church and house builders for the Nation.

 In Jesus's name.
Amen.

Lessons from the Bible can reassure us of God's love for us and they show us that His ways are good and so much higher than our own. How powerful. In Chapter three, the evil ideas of Haman, to have all the Jews exterminated, had been decreed by the king, and the money set aside in an account for the diabolical deeds and the date was set on the calendar for the bloodshed! That part is so incredible, that one man was given that much power. Just imagine it if you were a Jew. The date for the destruction of your entire race was set and the preparations to follow through with it were being made. Thankfully, our God is greater. Our God is able.
