Lord, Forgiveness

 'He told them:

The Scriptures say that the Messiah must suffer, then three days later he will rise from death.  They also say that all people of every nation must be told in my name to turn to God, in order to be forgiven. So beginning in Jerusalem,' Luke 24:46-47 (CEV)

 Dear Father
Thank you for Your Word. Through Your Word we find Old Testament prophesy of Christ, who lived and died and rose from the dead three days later. Christ fulfilled it all. And on the day He arose He appeared in a miraculous way and Luke described what Christ did and said in the New Testament. Christ told his disciples to go and preach repentance and forgiveness to every nation and to begin with Jerusalem.

Where would we be without forgiveness? Lord, forgive us. In Your name, we forgive those that have sinned against us.  Thank you for that form of peace. Thank you for that form of healing. Thank you for that act of pure love. We love You Lord. Through You Lord we have found a way to love others. You were murdered and You suffered, so You spoke of forgiveness and You forgave those that hurt You the most. That's the first place to start. You are our excellent example. Just let it go.

Thank you for Your Word, we pray for those that preach it. We must turn to You God in the name of Jesus. We pray for those who are suffering because of You. We pray for the nations. We thank You for Your Word, Your Forgiveness and Your Love. Have Your Way Lord. Forgive us for our sins.
In Jesus's name.
Amen.
