Copper Coins

 'Look, if you sold a few sparrows, how much money would you get? A copper coin apiece, perhaps? And yet your Father in heaven knows when those small sparrows fall to the ground.  You, beloved, are worth so much more than a whole flock of sparrows. God knows everything about you, even the number of hairs on your head. So do not fear.' Matthew 10:29-31 (VOICE)

Dear Father

Thank you for Your Word, it gives me such comfort. I love the copper coins visual. To You, even the least are valued and not even a sparrow falls to the ground that You don't know about it. In this same theme I can rest assured that if Your eye is on the sparrow that You care for me as well. You even know the number of hairs on my head. You will protect me as Your child and my death will not be a surprise to You but will come Your Way and only when it is Your Will. There is no need to fear. You are in control. There is no reason to be anxious about anything. I will live my life as if I believe in You and take Your Word to be True.

We pray for this election and thank you for the clarity that You have given us between the candidates, between the Light and the darkness, between the awful and the lawlessness, between those that want to burn it all down and those that love You. Thank you for waking us up in this hour. In 56 days we get to decide what type of government we want.

You have blessed us and given us a Christian nation. In this great country of ours we get to choose. We have a choice. Between freedom and tyranny. We will vote, even as Spiritual battles rage on in the heavens. Heal our land Lord. Jesus is our Lord and His Angel armies are at the door. He is there, waiting for Your command. 'It is finished!' End the Age. Destroy the destroyers. Let the peacemakers take a stand and keep the Faith while You fight our battles! We want to see Your Glory! Return this country and Your people to You. Faith is alive. Jesus is alive. We worship You.  We wait.

In Jesus' name.

Amen.

Up is Down Times

‘What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.’ Isaiah 5:20.   The Word of God really is like a light unto my feet, it illuminates my thoughts, it justifies my behaviors. The Word of God is good.    The Word of God is good because it reveals the Truth. God is Truth. God warns those that light up the darkness in order to rebel against Him. Darkness is sin. And in darkness sin is used to cover up sin. Lies are told to justify the ungodly; bitter is sweet, dark is light, up is down. Woe to those that condone and therefore justify sin. God will deal with them justly. God is Holy. Justice will be served.   And don't we see it being played out on the intellectual side?
