We worship you for you are our Lord, our King and our God. This day we take yet another promise that comes with a pledge. We agree to carry out the things that we do in Your Name for Your Glory. We will see Your Mighty Hand in everything that we work toward. We see the needs. Your people are ready to work. The needs are many. We hear your call that we are to meet them. We thank you for placing us in the land of the living, for giving us warm hearts, for supplying all of our needs. We thank you for showing us your will and your way so that we might not stumble. We are ready to work. Everyone is directed by someone. We thank You that it's You and not the enemy. Hold back evil. We love you Lord and the precious family that you have given us.  We respect you Lord for t

' Blow the trumpet in Zion;   consecrate a fast; call a solemn assembly; gather the people. Consecrate the congregation; assemble the elders; gather the children,   even nursing infants.   Let the bridegroom leave his room,   and the bride her chamber.' Joel 2:15-16 (ESV) The pastor is to make the call to repentance. Not to the regular worship service, this was a solemn occasion. A gathering like no other. No songs were sung. No sacraments or sacrifices were offered. Dressed for mourning, all were in attendance, none were excused. This was a day of humility. The nation was in trouble yet again. Darkness was upon the land. Judgment would soon fall. The trumpet blast was the signal to assemble. Assemble they did, with cries and passionate sobs and pleas of 'spare your people Lord'. The sinner's plea. All sins were to be confessed and dealt with. God was waiting to hear from them to show his acts of kindness and to offer up his covenant of grace.  Dear Fa

'Where shall I go from your Spirit?      Or where shall I flee from your presence?     If I ascend to heaven, you are there!      If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!     If I take the wings of the morning      and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,     even there your hand shall lead me,      and your right hand shall hold me.     If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me,      and the light about me be night,”     even the darkness is not dark to you;      the night is bright as the day,      for darkness is as light with you.' Psalm 139:7-12 (ESV) Our God is present everywhere and is omnipresent. We cannot see Him but He can see us.  The presence of His Glory is in heaven, the presence of His power is on earth, the presence of His justice is in hell, and the presence of His Grace is with His people  So I shall not sin against Him. Wherever we are we are under the watchful eye and hand of God.  How He does it is unknowable and it's all part of His wonderful plan and part of His Divine Mysteries.  So I shall not sin against You. I will instead worship You this day! Dear Father. I thank you this day that you are all knowing and that nothing is hidden from You. I praise You for Your infinite wisdom. Thank you for knowing me. The music. The arts. The media. The entertainment industry. The schools. The businesses. The courts. The family. The government. The church. All of it. Everything that the enemy has stolen from us through:     the swarming that have done damage to our balance, God will reunite;     the hopping that have left us sick, God will heal;     the stripping that have turned the moral compass, God will clarify; and .   the cutting that have left us bankrupt, God will restore.  Recovery through Jesus! Indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God.   And they will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor me.   But I have said these things to you, that when their hour comes you may remember that I told them to you. I did not say these things to you from the beginning, because I was with you. ' John 16:1-4 (ESV) Dear Father Protect our hearts during times of trouble. Speak to us from Your Word of Hope. Help us to remain silent when our hearts are broken for You and we are tempted to tell them we are finished. We are done. There is no chance of reconciliation. We will never speak to them again. There are limits Lord. There are points in the chain when we have to protect our own selves first. This is it Lord. In darkness there is a fear and a temptation and that brings with it the falling away. Help

' Your words were found, and I ate them,      and your words became to me a joy      and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name,      O Lord , God of hosts.' Jeremiah 15:16 (ESV) For those words that I am to share come directly from God. These specific words were heaven sent. I welcome them and I receive them just as if they were food. Food for a hungry soul. Every Word comes directly from God. I savor them and chew on every bite. I swallow them and digest them in my mind all day long. Mixed with faith, these words that build my faith become food for my soul and they bring joy to my heart. They refresh me because I know that He has sent them to me, and that He is in it. Hearing the Words of the Gospel are like finding a treasure for I know that God speaks directly to me. He even knows my name. His Words are personal and they are true. He offers me hope through His doctrines of grace, salvation, pardon, peace and righteousness through which Christ

  Lord, listen to my words, consider my groaning.  Pay attention to my cry for help, my king and my God, for unto you will I pray. Lord, in the morning you will hear my voice; in the morning I will pray to you, and I will watch for your answer.' Psalm 5:1-3 (ISV) God, You are always listening and ready to hear my prayers. I speak. You listen. And not just this morning, but every morning. Not just the well-spoken prayers but also the ones that I offer when I can't even seem to find the right words to say. You are always there for me. You can make sense even out of all of my inexpressible groaning for You know what's in my heart. You are my God and my King. My God hears my voice and my cry for help and He is quick to answer. Jesus intercedes for me. Therefore, I will continue to worship Him and to pray daily, always looking up for He is worthy of all of my attention and praise. Grateful. I am so very grateful for Him. Presence. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.' 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 (ESV) Do you know Christ? Do you have the Love of Christ in you? Here is a Biblical test for believers that know the benefits of Christian living are many and they are beautiful. Christ gives us many examples of charity and we can know if we have His Grace by how well we match up with these verses. When we compare our lives to these love verses and if we find that we do not meet this criteria of a Christian then we should go after love with everything that we've got and learn to love like we mean it. Revelation 13:7-8 (ESV)  What if Jesus is who He said He was? He said He was speaking by authority of His Father, God. What if He was telling the truth? That makes Him God. He said He was Truth. What if He is God? He said that He had been with the Father. He never lied before. With everything that He said and everything that He did, how could He have been just a mere man? Spirit meets reason. He was so believable. He healed and He delivered. He was given supernatural power. He gave it all and He did it

' Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy. For one who speaks in a tongue speaks not to men but to God; for no one understands him, but he utters mysteries in the Spirit. On the other hand, the one who prophesies speaks to people for their upbuilding and encouragement and consolation. The one who speaks in a tongue builds up himself, but the one who prophesies builds up the church. Now I want you all to speak in tongues, but even more to prophesy. Send me!”' Isaiah 6:8 (NASB) Christian attended Prophets University and participated in that mission until he heard the Lord's voice which was the official call on his life that helped him to know it even more. He accepted it. Has God called you and given you a mission? Do you know that we are all called to be prophets? You can know it in your spirit but it is the hearing that settles the deal from within, Spirit to spirit. It is the hearing that leads to the reassurance that the calling is real. Hearing His voice leads to the zeal. What you hear becomes what you see. For some, without the passion there is no zeal for it is the passion which leads us to believe. It is the zeal for Him, that causes us to open our mouths to teach and to speak for God. For, how can they know unless they are taught? And, of course, how can they be taught unless som

' Nothing is hidden that won’t be revealed, and nothing is secret that won’t be brought out into the open.' Luke 12:2 (CEB) The Lord is raising up His army.  His Sword of the Spirit is plunging ever deeper into the hearts of mankind. As increasing darkness falls on the earth it is a symbol to us that the battle is raging, and that Christ is winning and Satan is being defeated.  Praise God. Taking an inward look at myself can be so humbling. Yes I like to sweep my sins under the carpet. Eventually all of that dirt is going to be exposed. Humiliating? Yes, but I know that God is merciful and that He is polishing me and leading me through my trials to His perfection. There is no place to hide. It's time to check out the broom closet again. Lord, bring me out into the soul cleansing Light. Your Son's perfect passion, death, resurrection and ascension is all the proof that I need to know that He is perfection, that He is Lord of all. 'We are confident that God is able to orchestrate everything to work toward something good and beautiful when we love Him and accept His invitation to live according to His plan. Lessons from the Bible can reassure us of God's love for us and they show us that His ways are good and so much higher than our own. How powerful. In Chapter three, the evil ideas of Haman, to have all the Jews exterminated, had been decreed by the king, and the money set aside in an account for the diabolical deeds and the date was set on the calendar for the bloodshed! That part is so incredible, that one man was given that much power. Just imagine it if you were a Jew. The date for the destruction of your entire race was set and the preparations to follow through with it were being made. Thankfully, our God is greater. Our God is able. He is able to confuse the bad plans of men in power. Ou

' The fruit of the righteous is as a tree of life, and he that winneth souls is wise.' Proverbs 11:30 (GNV) The righteous are like trees of life. Look at how they influence others. Look at their shade like producing influences around the world. Refreshing. Blessings. Be Blessed. Strong in positions and living tall. How does this work? It's all based on the fruit of that tree. Fruit and righteousness. Everything, is based on you and me. We are not to hold back. No excuses. Freely giving. Freely receiving. Supporting and nourishing the spiritual life of many.  Like  an oasis. Encouraging and not draining them, that's me! That’s who I want to be. No deficit spending allowed. Surpluses only. Overflow. Receiving even more back in return.  Struggling in life? Read this and discern it. Be wise. Be a soul winner. Be sensitive to the Spirit. The wind blows on us all, but not everyone of us will hear it. Receive what the Holy Spirit is telling you in faith and
