Your Name is Victory
Pray for the Women of the 116th
'Tell Esther, “Don’t be fooled. Just because you are living inside the
king’s palace doesn’t mean that you out of all of the Jews will escape
the carnage. You must go before your king. If you stay silent during
this time, deliverance for the Jews will come from somewhere, but you,
my child, and all of your father’s family will die. And who knows?
Perhaps you have been made queen for such a time as this.” Esther 4:13-14 (VOICE)
At 26% of the population of the House of Representatives, let's
continue to pray for the women that we have sent there to represent us. I
pray this day that the spirit of Esther will rise up and fill that
place and take over the hearts and minds of those women that are serving
us in our government. We call forth Kingdom women that will legislate
with wisdom and humility. That will speak truth. That will replace
personal ambitions with personal desires to serve all those that they
are being paid to represent. That will realize the importance of their
position and the reason for their call to duty in such a time as this.
For a mentor, one would look to Esther as their guide. Esther was a
woman of virtue. That and her beauty, was one of the main reasons why
she was chosen to be the Queen of Persia. So must the women of today,
hold virtue in high esteem and be women of integrity. Let integrity be
their guide. We pray for you this day, women of the 116th. Integrity and
honesty and a strong moral compass is what God will provide and is what
He is calling for from you even now.
Esther was part of God's
plan. She was willing to do her part with courage and grace. She took
risks to make the changes that were needed in her day to save her
people. So must the women of today, be willing to do their part. They
have been given an important opportunity to rise above the current
situation of darkness and to be a light to this great nation. With God
as your guide you can take a step of faith into your destiny. In God We
Trust! We are watching and we are praying for you. 'And who knows?
Perhaps you have been made queen for such a time as this.' Amen.
