The Redeemed
'Then
Shecaniah son of Jehiel, a descendant of Elam, said to Ezra, “We have
been unfaithful to our God, for we have married these pagan women of the
land. But in spite of this there is hope for Israel.' Ezra 10:2 (NLT)
Dear Father,
We
have found ourselves in a sad way; the times are troubling but not
desperate; the disease is threatening but not incurable. But in spite of
all of this gloom and drama and despair that the world has to offer,
there is hope for tomorrow; our demise may be prevented by repentance
and reformation.
There
is hope for us for tomorrow because we are Your sons and daughters;
every kindred, and tongue, and people and nation, we are the descendants
of the great Elohim. Hallelujah! The guilty have been restored, because
of Your son Jesus the spreading of the virus of sin has been stopped.
We are the redeemed! By Your blood, Your judgment upon us has been
prevented. By Your stripes, we have been made clean and are healed.
Through You, sin and death have been defeated!
The
diagnosis was inaccurate. Therefore, we shall not sit down in sorrow
and defeat for even a second for there is hope. Yes! We shall arise. We
shall be moved to take action; to amend our ways, to call out Your name,
and speak this prayer out loud. For You are the Great Healer. You have
told us that all we have to do is to ask and to believe. We are asking.
We are believing. Your Word is Truth. We trust in You.
There
is hope when we pray and call upon Your great name. Thank you for Your
mercy Lord. Thank you for Your forgiveness. We are nothing without You.
We offer You our praise of thanksgiving. We love You. Even now, a great
harvest of souls, as every cancer cell and coronavirus has to leave in
the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
