You say because of You and the life that You have lived through me that it is a crown of honor! Lord, I've loved every minute of this life You have given me. It's been an honor to serve You. Please continue to live through me. When they find me I pray that it be on Silvertop in Your Way of righteousness. Not dissatisfied, content. Don't disguise, share. Continue to teach me Your ways so that I might meet, greet and share in the Feast of the Open Book with young women just as hungry for Your Word as I have been.   You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid.' Matthew 5:14 (RSV)   Holy Spirit referred me back to this verse. Admittedly, this day I am feeling a little vulnerable after a weekend away from technology and so feeling just a bit cut off from the world and eager to get back into it and to get caught up with everyone. What have I missed? Someone I don't even know was able to consume 49 of my devotionals this weekend! How awesome is that? I am praying for you Jenny! Then I heard a word of encouragement from a friend who's husband had lost his wallet two weeks ago. She reported that this weekend he miraculously found it. Holy Spirit did reveal where it was, and after several searches in that place, now it is found. Thank you Lord. My faith is boosted again. God You are so Faithful! Then there is this Word in Matthew. How Jesus blesses us in the Beatitudes and tells us we are to be light, and He even connects 'you' to a city. G

'And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church,   which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.' Ephesians 1:22-23 (NASB) Jesus Christ is ruler over all creation. He is the supreme ruler of all nations. The universe is under His control. He controls all angels in heaven as well as fallen angels.  He is Savior of all men. ' He is the head of the body, which is the church. Everything comes from him. He is the first one who was raised from the dead. So in all things Jesus has first place.' Colossians 1:18 (NCV) It would be wise to pay close attention to the pump that moves the blood and to listen for the very heartbeat of God and know that the Church is the body of Christ and He is the head. Just a few weeks ago He led me to start my devotional study of the favorite verse from each one of the 66 Books of the Bible. I can attest to the fact that time goes by too fast. Now, today I celebrate and look to the last Book, the Book of Revelation, t he Book that was written by and was the vision of the Apostle John during his exile on the island of Patmos Little did I know that the favorite verse of each Book of the Bible is a controversial subject. They were politically savvy as well and chose this time to go over to King David. After certain events had taken place they showed their wisdom and took action and declared David as their King. With much joy they knew that this was the best course of action to take, not only for themselves, but for their tribe and their country as well. Likewise is the timing of events that occur when the believer invites the Lord into their own heart. God gives us Life and He gives us Light and with it comes responsibility. We are to know more than this one verse, but He gives us 66 Books to teach us! As for prophecy, how could the authors have known about Jesus Christ long before He was born if not for God's inspiration?  And as for the historical record that has been proven and that gives us an accurate report of man and civil

Thank you that 3,333 years ago the blood was applied, for their sins then, the Word was spoken and You saved Your people, who were the ones that feared You, from the Spirit of Death that passed over them. Thank you that 2,000 years ago, Your Word was spoken,  Jesus's Blood was shed at the Cross for my sins and for all the hearts that would honor You, and You saved us and that same Spirit was defeated forever. Restore freedom. Bring back our jobs and return our thriving economy. Thank you for the freedoms we have been given through the Constitution of this great country. All things in heaven and on earth were created for Him. What things were created that were created? The visible and the invisible were created through Him. Where are the things that were created? The things that were created represent the thrones, the dominions, the rulers and the powers in heaven and on earth. When will Jesus rule over everything? Jesus is the Head and not the tail, all enemies will one day be under His feet, He has all authority over things in heaven and earth and He sets at the right hand of God and rules and reigns Supreme o

Philippians 4:7 (NRSV) Only in His presence can we know God and feel the peace that flows through Him in times of trouble and from knowing that we are reconciled to Him. Knowing Jesus as Savior is such a feeling of comfort in times of anxiety that no mind can comprehend it or can scarcely explain it, but it can be felt through the spirit.  The favor of God on your life can also be seen. The hope of what lies ahead for the believer in heaven can be expressed. We know that the day will come when every thought, word and deed will be judged. We also know that we should take that into consideration while we live and still can. The level of joy that we feel today is in direct relationship to our level of self-control and our conduct. Believers are called to a mission and we are to live holy lives. So, that is why we must guard our hearts and keep them

  ' Then Moses said to Aaron, “Take your censer and put incense in it, along with burning coals from the altar, and hurry to the assembly to make atonement for them. Wrath has come out from the Lord ; the plague has started.” So Aaron did as Moses said, and ran into the midst of the assembly. Father, protect and help the men and women who have become laser focused on the virus-of-the-day cure. Confound the work of the distracted and confused few that are trying to weaponize it to destroy us. Let them hear Your voice and the voices of God that have brought a different proposal to the table. You won’t find any law opposed to fruit like this.' Galatians 5:22-23 (VOICE) It's so easy to fall victim to the vices of sin, a sprinkle of poison for flavor soon enough becomes a downpour. It trips you up. You become a slave to your own habits and addictions. You prefer lawlessness. You are weak. Life is a struggle. That's no excuse. Just admit that you are. God is the Lawgiver and laws are what keep you healthy and safe. God has given you a law and even given you a way that leads you out of bondage through His powerful Holy Spirit. When you invite Jesus and the Spirit into your heart then sin's darkness will fade and the Light of Life will invade.  You know what you ought to do. You just fail to do it. Easier said than done. There is hope. Law and order is so much better for you.
