And you shall hang the veil from the clasps, and bring the ark of the testimony in there within the veil. And the veil shall separate for you the Holy Place from the Most Holy.' Exodus 26:31-33 (ESV Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the year for those of the Jewish faith. It means 'Day of Atonement'. This year, 2019, it was celebrated on October 8-9. What might the significance be when my Bible study group, following a study plan, discussed 'the Holiest' day on the day that it was celebrated? To the one that refuses to trust and to obey Christ as the Son of God and to believe that he died for the sins of all, this one is therefore because of his own decision, condemned and is dead in sin. God is Holy. Because God Loves us He sent His only Son Jesus to die for us. As long as we still have breath in our lungs it's not too late! Christ is the only way to heaven. There are no other forms of morality, no greater teaching of ideas, no encouraging words of faith that will cover this sin of omission. Christ is the High Priest. He lives to intercede for us. Like rain they tend to refresh my tired and weary soul and like rain in a parched season, good news. Just in time for the thirsty soul. Just in time of need! Joy. Joy. Joy. There are no strings attached. Nothing that is of the Lord brings guilt or condemnation. How could it be? Wealth without sorrow! It comes straight from the Creator. There is no darkness in him. He has no evil intent. He is Love. He loves you and just wants to add to your happiness. He brings you into the family through His Son, fully equipped for service. He equips you to bring you into the choir, ready to sing and to praise him in all circumstance. And we do! Thank you Lord for making me rich! God and your neighbor. As much as we physically can. To sheer exhaustion. Resting in God's Love. God's will. His plan. Slow down. Remit. For all eternity. Forever and ever. Your will be done. Amen. Dear Father Thank you for your Word. Your word is Truth. We see and we feel who we are to be in Christ. We know that you are Love. We know and we are to the best of our ability with the help of the Lord and Comforter a reflection of your Love to the world. To a world that is hurting and dying. That is our purpose. To love them as we have loved you. As we have been loved by you. Continue to fill us and to renew us daily. We are tired. We will wait. Take us to the limit and mold us into laborer...
