No Darkness

'This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.' 1 John 1:5 (ESV)

 

'And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.' Revelation 22:5 (ESV)

 

No darkness in him at all. No sunlight. No darkness in him at all. No sunlight. No darkness...

Dear Father

We praise you for who you are. You are the Father of lights, the author and the giver of all light. You illuminate and you are the light of reason.  

We pray this thirty-first day before the election. Be the giver of light and the light of reason. Make a way for darkness to flee as your light continues to shine bright on this land. Disrupt the evil plans of the enemy. Give victory to those with hearts turned to you.

In Jesus' name.

Amen.

In Chapter three, the evil ideas of Haman, to have all the Jews exterminated, had been decreed by the king, and the money set aside in an account for the diabolical deeds and the date was set on the calendar for the bloodshed! That part is so incredible, that one man was given that much power. Just imagine it if you were a Jew. The date for the destruction of your entire race was set and the preparations to follow through with it were being made. Thankfully, our God is greater. Our God is able.
