Breathe Out

'Every Scripture has been written by the Holy Spirit, the breath of God. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness. Then you will be God’s servant, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives you.' 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (TPT)

The Holy Scriptures are the only source of instruction and correction that are never wrong. Rest assured. The Holy Spirit is incapable of making mistakes. He has written the never failing, always effective, flawless, impeccable, unerring, guaranteed and dependable Word of God to give you strength and to empower you. It will lead you deeper into the path of godliness. I have and I would stake my life on it! 

Dear Father.

 Thank you for Your Word, written by Your breath so that we might breathe it in and have fullness of power and life through its instructions and correction. We want to serve You as Your fully mature and perfectly prepared sons and daughters.Thank you for giving us a purpose and an assignment. We are to occupy! Break through the gate of every swing state for the Breath of Life in this election Lord.  Lead us into the deeper paths of righteousness for Your name's sake. 

In Jesus's name.

Amen.

Up is Down Times

‘What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.’ Isaiah 5:20.   The Word of God really is like a light unto my feet, it illuminates my thoughts, it justifies my behaviors. The Word of God is good.    The Word of God is good because it reveals the Truth. God is Truth. God warns those that light up the darkness in order to rebel against Him. Darkness is sin. And in darkness sin is used to cover up sin. Lies are told to justify the ungodly; bitter is sweet, dark is light, up is down. Woe to those that condone and therefore justify sin. God will deal with them justly. God is Holy. Justice will be served.   And don't we see it being played out on the intellectual side? Being smart in the ways of the world might gain you some position of power and some stuff, but worldliness is lacking in righteousness and it will never prevail.
